Workspace / User Data Filter Predicate Pushdown

Hi GoodData Community --With regard to Workspace / User Data Filters, it’s not clear to me where this filtering takes place. Are these predicates pushed down to the underlying data source or does the SQL execution engine perform this filtering after retrieval?
