 Not able to see any users/groups when trying to share a dashboard on GoodData.CN

Hi GoodData team,

 

We are facing an issue on our GoodData account https://katon.cloud.gooddata.com/, where we are not able to see any users/groups when trying to share a dashboard.

 

What we want to achieve is to show some users only a set of client workspaces, instead of adding them to the adminGroup and them seeing all workspaces. What could be the issue here?

I’ve added a user into the adfireGroup and I still don’t see it anywhere on GoodData.

Hello,

Only groups which are assigned to that workspace will show up in the menu. An alternative to that are the SEE permissions described here: https://www.gooddata.com/developers/cloud-native/doc/cloud/manage-organization/manage-permissions/set-permissions-for-dashboards/

Could you check which userGroups are assigned to the workspace you are working with and how?

If you are trying to assign permissions from the parent workspace to groups which only exist in child workspaces, the SEE permissions will have to be used.
