Unfortunately, my assumption here was correct, this is not possible.
Have you considered loading the same data or data example to both environments, please?
You can also also work with TEST, DEV, PROD environments via Life Cycle Management.
Other option would be to contact your Account Owner and involve our team of Professional Services to help you implement some custom solution.
