Apparently I was using the wrong version of GoodData for evaluation. I am now on tevera.on.gooddata.com. Here is what I'm whitelisting currently:
j
Hi Jeff, are you facing any troubles?
o
@Jeff Burton needs set up IP whitelisting at the domain level so he can connect his DB
j
your domain resides on US-2 - United States, Dallas, TX datacenter, you would need to whitelist the range of IP addresses referenced in the table here on you database instance https://help.gooddata.com/doc/free/en/data-integration/data-preparation-and-distribut[…]ata-load-reference/gooddata-ip-addresses-and-ip-whitelisting

Hi Jeff, Please see our documentation below that may help here: https://help.gooddata.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=86788391 Can you please check that you have done the following steps: Access to the Cluster - So that the GoodData platform can connect to your Redshift cluster, authorize access to it. User Access Rights - Grant the access rights to the user who is referenced in Data Sources
j
I have connected to this cluster from four other vendors without a problem, using the same credentials.
p
@Jeff Burton Just to confirm, you ran the two
GRANT
commands listed here and it’s still not working?
j
Yes, I did. I want to note that "Connection failed. Cannot reach the url" implies to me a connectivity problem, not a permissions problem.
o
@Jeff Burton lets schedule a meeting and resolve it personally! @Boris will assist us
j
OK
at 11am central time I am free.
