I'm having an issue with Workspaces and Dashboard permissions. I have a setup where... • I have a group named

viewerGroup

with

EXPORT

permissions on a workspace. • The

viewerGroup

has

VIEW

permissions on all of the dashboards within the workspace. • My user is part of the

viewerGroup

...and my user cannot see the dashboards within a workspace even though the dashboard has been shared to the

viewerGroup

. What's up?

Hi Ryan, Are you working with Parent/Child workspaces in your organization, please? Also, could you confirm that

viewerGroup

has permission to access the workspace where the dashboard belongs to?

I am not working with parent child workspaces yet. However, I am setting the

hierarchyPermissions

of the workspace. These are the results of my API calls checking permissions on one of the shown Workspaces and a Dashboard within that workspace.
