Any tips on intercepting user interaction in embedded charts? e.g. If a user clicks on a datapoint, the app can navigate to a URL or execute javascript?
l
It absolutely can. Are you doing it from an insight in a dashboard or an insight embedded independently?
v
insight embedded independenty
l
I know there is a way but @Jiri Zajic or @David Ramirez might need to help on this one. Here is the documentation for an insight on a dashboard. Let me see if I can find some for the insight independently embedded. https://www.gooddata.com/developers/cloud-native/doc/1.7/analytics/dashboards/drilling-in-dashboards/set-drill-into-hyperlink/
v
ok... as long as I know it's the
Drill
facility
looks like you might intercept the drill, and cancel the default action
l
Yep. That is what we call the interaction. We nativity have different drills for dashboard and my understanding is exactly what you are saying. You just intercept it. Still going to see if I can find the specific documentation for you. 🙂

v

l

v
I think I got it, thanks!
