I'm getting this error when trying to update the Oauth config of my organization: "Can't proceed, OAuth configuration is protected against alteration in the organization." How can I make it so that it is not protected against alteration?

Hi Faizah, Looks like your organization is using our GD Managed OIDC. Do you still see the Invite button in the top horizontal menu, please?

Ok, then, this is definitely the case. Once you are ready to switch from our OIDC to your own, please follow these steps. You can also check this step-by-step article. This way, you are going to be able to provision new users in the organization. I believe that we sent the instructions also to your colleague Max Donsky some time ago. 😉

Oh, my bad. Looks like it needs to be turned off on our end firstly. Then you’d be able to follow the steps mentioned above. I can create a follow-up ticket on your behalf and make sure that your organization is ready for the the change.

Hi @Faizah Sayyid, You would need to change your organization settings back to the default and the managed OIDC would need be turned on by our engineers again. I can reopen related ticket, if needed.

It would be great if you can re-open the ticket, I apologize for the inconvenience. Do you know how we can develop our oauth implementation, test it, while having a working log in so we don't disrupt the workflow of those actively use our gooddata instance?

Sure thing - on it and no worries, please. 😉 I am afraid, this is not possible within one organization, but we might be able to provide you some TEST organization. I just need to double-check it with your account owner firstly - I will loop them into the ticket as well, to speed thing up a bit.
