When we view or search for insights / visualizations in analytical designer, the results do not load immediately. There's a progress spinner that runs for like 10 or 15 seconds every time an insight is loaded (see attached screenshot). Is there a way we can speed this up? Is there a column we could index in our Postgres database where GD.CN stores its metadata to make the list of available insight names show up faster? Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Pete, sorry for the troubles here - We’ll need to check this internally with our team to see what we can do to help here. Thanks for bearing with us in the meantime!

Hi Pete, can you please confirm what version of CN you are on and how many visualization objects you have in the catalog?

Hi Pete, sorry for a late response, I’ve been discussing this with engineers and product.. API for fetching catalog objects is suboptimal regarding performance.. we are planning to implement slightly different approach how UI client is fetching catalog object which we believe it should improve performance. It should be released within next version of CN

Thanks Jan. Would you know the release version when this will be available? Is it a patch release under 3.7 or 3.8?
