Hi Team, is there any reason why copying value with Ctrl+C (windows) doesn't work for selected element in the table? Element was selected like in the picture, then ctrl+c was pressed, but nothing is copied.

The knowledge sources do not contain enough information to give a definitive answer about why Ctrl+C doesn't work for copying a selected cell value in a GoodData table widget on dashboards. However, there is one relevant note worth sharing: the cell selection and copying feature is specifically mentioned as a capability of the new PivotTableNext component (built on AG Grid Enterprise) in the GoodData UI SDK. [Pivot Table (New)] This suggests that cell copy support may depend on which table component/version is being used. A few things to consider: • If you are using the standard dashboard table widget (not the SDK-based
PivotTableNext
), cell-level copy via Ctrl+C may not be supported. • If you are using the GoodData.UI SDK, make sure you are using
PivotTableNext
(not the legacy
PivotTable
) to get cell selection and copy support. • As an alternative workaround, you can export the widget data to XLSX or CSV via the widget's (ellipsis) menu → Export, which gives you the full data in a format you can work with in Excel or other tools. [Export Widget] I'd recommend reaching out to GoodData support directly with your specific environment details (dashboard URL, browser, etc.) so they can confirm whether Ctrl+C copy is expected to work in your context. 👍 0 button 👎 0 button ℹ️ Tip: Mention @kapa.ai in the thread for follow-ups. 👀 Our Support team monitors all messages and will jump in if needed.

Hi Sanja, I can confirm that copying cell values with Ctrl+C is not currently supported. I'll log this as product feedback on your behalf.

Hi Sanja, We looked into it internally and confirmed it was indeed a bug. Cell copying with Ctrl+C is a supported feature in GoodData Cloud tables, but it wasn't working as expected. We've since notified our engineers and the fix has been deployed. Ctrl+C copying from table cells should now work correctly. Please give it a try and let us know if you run into anything else!
