This is a known issue pattern. The most likely cause is that your organization is in a managed OIDC → own OIDC transition, where:
• Adding a user via the UI only creates them in the GoodData organization, not in the authentication layer (Auth0/managed OIDC).
• As a result, the user cannot be self-provisioned and the action fails. [Managed OIDC off]
Also note that the Auth ID field appears to be missing from your form (the screenshot only shows First name, Last name, Email, and User groups). When using your own OIDC, the user's authenticationId (sub claim) is required. Without it, user creation will fail. [Create a User] What you should do next 1. Contact GoodData Support (or post in your support channel) and provide:
◦ Your GoodData hostname: wizehive-zengine.cloud.gooddata.com
◦ The email address of the user you're trying to add (e.g., anuj.sahu+client1@submittable.com)
◦ The error message: "An unexpected error has occurred"
1. Ask Support to manually provision the user into your environment. In similar cases, GoodData's L2/Tier 2 team has added users directly, after which the user can use "Forgot password" on the login page to set their password. [Professional-tier transition]
2. Long-term fix: Implement your own OIDC provider so you can manage users independently going forward. [Transition to own OIDC] 👍 0 button 👎 0 button ℹ️ Tip: Mention @kapa.ai in the thread for follow-ups.
