message from our Director of Engineering Hi Good Data, We feel it is important to communicate the seriousness of yesterday's issue. The change that your team deployed to your Javascript SDK completely broke our embedded reporting widgets, affecting all of our customers who use our Advanced Analytics module. It also caused us some reputational harm, as we were demoing these features to an important prospect at the time of this incident. Could you please provide us with some re-assurance that: 1. You will proactively notify us of any changes to your JS SDK that may affect our usage downstream. 2. No futher breaking changes will be deployed, without giving us sufficient time to update things on our end. Thanks for your attention in this matter, Richard Larcombe Director of Engineering Learn Amp

Hi Jhonatan, We are terribly sorry for this incident. Please rest assured that this was not a standard procedure on our end. Due to a human error, an unintended change was introduced into the production release. We are currently conducting an internal review to ensure this does not happen again. Any new features or changes are routinely announced in our Release Notes: https://www.gooddata.com/docs/cloud/whats-new-cloud/ All breaking changes will be standardly communicated well in advance, so you have sufficient time to prepare and implement any necessary updates on your side. Once again, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this has caused.

Hello, just wanted to add to the above that you have also an option to raise a ticket with Support team especially in case of Severity 1 issues or call us directly to escalate the issue and expedite the investigation. https://support.gooddata.com Thanks

@Jhonatan Teixeira Just for the record, our team has successfully delivered the fix to our Production, however, the workaround you implemented can stay as it is and there is no need for further actions on your end.

thanks a lot!
