I am trying to use the Geo Map widget in my GoodData workspace, but the system is not accepting my location fields. I have tried storing latitude and longitude as string, and integer values, but the platform still shows the message:
“No location in your visualization. Add a geo attribute to your visualization, or switch to another visualization.”
Could you please clarify: What exact data format is required for latitude and longitude? ◦ Should they be separate attributes (Latitude and Longitude)? in data model field mapping it is not giving option for selecting data as geo cordintaes can u please look into it and help me

Hi Naveen. I will start by addressing the data type. The Latitude and Longitude should be numeric values. Please note that 'Integer' will not work, as the coordinates are in decimal format. Additionally, they should be treated as separate attributes. As a reference, I am attaching the details of my datasource, which is functioning correctly in my internal environment. I would also like to point you to our documentation on the Geo Chart for further information.
