Hey GD Team, I wanted to confirm how the Month-to-Date (MTD) filter works in GoodData. We have a metric called Active Subscriptions visualized as a headline. When using the This Month filter (compared to the previous period), the numbers appear as expected. However, when switching to This Month-to-Date (MTD) and comparing with the previous period, it shows “No data for your filter selection.” After some RCA, here’s my hypothesis: • Active Subscriptions last month (full month): 2 • This month: 179 • Last month, there were no sales between Sept 1–15 — subscriptions were only sold on Sept 16 and Sept 29. So when the MTD filter compares Oct 1–15 with Sept 1–15, the previous period returns no data because there were no active subscriptions in that window. If there is no data in the previous period for the selected range (for example, no active subscriptions between September 1–15), the comparison will return "No data for your filter selection" for that period. This is expected behavior, as the MTD filter aligns the date ranges exactly between the current and previous periods for a true like-for-like comparison. For example, MTD includes data from the first day of the current month up to today. On July 21, 2025, MTD covers the period from July 1, 2025, through July 21, 2025.

"This month to date (MTD)" works as you expect. So it shows for today, 1st July till 13th July and 1st August till 13th of August.
