I've run into an issue where chart filters, that have filters applied to them in the Analyze / Analytical Designer area, are not being overridden by the dashboard filters despite the "Filter by" configurations being set to filter by.
is this by design or a bug?

primarily use the filter in analytical designer to have the charts load faster and get a "preview" of the data.

Thank you for your patience as I was gathering info. This behaviour is intended and Analytical Designer filters override the Dashboard filters. Please let me know if you have further questions. Thank you
