Apologies if this is not the right place for this but I couldn’t find an Incident channel. Our customers are experiencing a disruption of service and when I look in the Chrome Console, I’m seeing CORS errors
m
Hi Dylan, this is not a platform wide issue - As I am able to login to the platform. Based on the CORS error you’re seeing there, I would like to suggest that you review the following documentation: https://www.gooddata.com/docs/cloud/manage-organization/set-up-cors-for-organization/

Thanks Michael - when I try to access our GoodData instance, I get a 404 error. Was a change made last night to cause this? We have hundreds of customers live and using this solution on a daily basis. Something changed in the last 24 hours
m
Hi Dylan, I see that you updated this ticket stating that you resolved this issue by updating your CORS settings: https://gooddata.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/128425 Our team will followup with you in the ticket above 🙂

Yes! The fire is put out. But now we need to figure out how it started in the first place so it doesn’t happen again. Was there an update to GoodData in the last 24 hours that would have enforced CORS or cleared settings in our admin?
m
My colleague will followup on this in the ticket above

And thank you for the prompt response - that helped us work around the issue very quickly

@Michael Ullock Thank you for all the help. We had issues where our secret keys expired recently, causing us to be unable to log into the cloud. We filed ticket 128405 and later yesterday we updated them to get things working again. I don't see that being connected but it is also very coincidental. Is this something we may have caused via our update and if so can we get some guidance for what we may have done differently to avoid this?

Hi Drew, this information was added to this ticket by Drew: https://gooddata.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/128425 My colleague is going to also add you to this ticket above now also and we will look into this there.

Sounds good. Thank you
