Team , We have observed a discrepancy between the Gooddata development and production environments. Specifically, the "Reset All Filters" button is visible in the production environment. This issue presents a significant risk because, when we embed the dashboard at the program level, Product Owners and Product Managers (PO/PM) are able to reset filters. This exposes them to the full scope of organizational data, which is not intended. This is a critical issue that requires immediate attention. Please prioritize this for resolution as it affects data confidentiality and user experience. cc @Pablo Castro

Hi Anjali, First, please note the Dashboard Filters are NOT considered a data security feature, thus there is not Security Issue, as you can see here . > I_n addition, Workspace Data Filters and User Data Filters allow you to limit what data from a parent workspace is available to their child workspaces and users (additionally, we also provide the feature of Dashboard Filters, but please note these are not considered a data security feature)._ As security feature you can use User Data Filter (UDF) or Workspace Data Filter (WDF). Also if the issue is about the button, I think they still can reset the filters, manually, no? Maybe you would prefer to hide them? Secondly, I would like to ask this issue is happening in the Embedded PROD environment only?, and NO in the UI, right? Thirdly, which method are you using for embed the dashboard, could you share the code please (feel free to use DM) we will look into the issue regarding the button. And lastly, be aware this is a Public Community, so take in mind that every video or Image you share can be seen for everybody. I will keep you updated.

@Mauricio Cabezas its not about the embedding part, i am seeing "reset filter" only on prod , its not there on the gooddata dev environment.

Hello Anjali, pls understand that you cannot call smthg security feature if it was not designed as security feature by us. The UDFs and WDFs are designed exactly for your use case. I strongly recommend to implement them. As per the reset functionality there is even an option to turn it off. Mauricio will follow up on this.

Please be aware, in the UI, by default, you have the option to Reset or not, which is set as ON/Active, see first image. But in DEV, as you claim, you can not see it because it is not active, see second image. Try to set it to OFF or deactivate in Production and let us know.
