Hey all,
Question about Geo Pushpins, is there anyway in Gooddata cloud to use city, state, country to put items on the map within Gooddata?
We use pushpins today through geo-coordinates we have, but some of the data we want to surface are showing at 0,0 coordinates. All of our locations are somewhere in say US/CA area and we have the rest of the information, jsut not the coordinates.

Hi Steve, I'm afraid the data for Geo Charts must include location name, latitude, and longitude. However, we can certainly submit this for product feedback for our product team to review.

Yeah our use case is I don't need to know the precision of say lat/long,
Knowing even zipcode for the US is close enough for the situation where we're looking at things.
Cause we have other workflows that require a lat/long for things, but if I'm looking at a high level at like 20-30 items in the Chicago area, unless I'm zoomed in really, really close I don't really need to know exactly where it is for the dashboard we're using this data on.

Thank you, good to know I'm not missing something obvious 🙂

Thank you for the added details, it would make sense to be able to apply just the zipcode. We will definitely discuss this further with the product team. Should you need more traction on the this, I would suggest to reach out directly to your account owner.
