Hey All, Question about the "My Views" feature and Filtered Values • I'm seeing a situation where My views works properly as long as the filters are not filtered by other values • When I setup a view containing filters that are "filtered by other values", they do not persist within the saved view
This feels either intentional or miss-leading
Though I'm testing directly in gooddata and seems to work like I would expect
but we're seeing strange results in our embedded ui

Hi Steve, May I ask you to record some short screencast so we can see what exact steps lead into this issue? Do you see any errors or exceptions by any chance in the console or network tab when reproducing the problem? Also, it might be handy if you record har files -> the working flow vs the incorrect behaviour and also a code snippet so we can pass the issue to Technical Team for further investigation.

I'll have to get the examples together, apologies about the delay.
Just to clarify, • Context Filters and saves views What is the order operations? • Example: I create a view with 3 filters ◦ 1 is independent ▪︎ Say last 90 days ◦ 2 are dependent on each other 3 ▪︎ Filter 2 is accounts • filtered by 90 days that have lets say tickets ▪︎ Filter 3 is ticket type for accounts in filter 2 • filtered by accounts and days in last 90 days If I save the view with items within the dependent filters, will it still work? • Will it override? • Will it show no results because that filtered Item does not existin the dependent filter

Hi Steve, Sorry for my delay with the response. I’ve checked the scenario which you are describing and I can confirm that dependent filters are correctly saved for me into a view and whenever I switch back to this view, I’m getting the same setup. If you observe any different behaviour in your embedded environment, we will need the information which I’ve mentioned.

I'll do some testing.
Thank you for confirming
