New Feature: Enhanced Federated Identity Management
We’ve made it easier to set up and manage federated authentication by
simplifying the way identity providers (IdPs) are handled.
What’s Changing?
•
No More Extra Admin Groups – Previously, setting up OpenID Connect (OIDC) providers required creating a separate admin group. Now, that’s no longer necessary—simply enable the feature and manage providers directly via API.
•
Expanded Provider Support – You can now configure
multiple SAML providers, or even use a combination of
SAML and OIDC providers, giving you greater flexibility in managing authentication.
Why It Matters:
•
Simplifies setup – Reduces manual admin work and speeds up onboarding.
•
Enhances flexibility – Supports complex authentication setups with multiple providers.
•
Improves control – Direct API access makes provider management more efficient.
