Hi, I have a Professional GoodData Cloud account and I have been asked to explain the issue I am facing here. When I try to create a user (Add user > Form filling (everything except Auth ID) > Add) no email is sent to the email address provided. Can you please support me? Thanks Ps: I don't have an OIDC in place so I am willing to use yours. I might miss the Auth ID. @Ivana Gasparekova @Yann Briançon

Hi Emilie, Thank you kindly for posting your inquiry here, appreciated. When you create the user via UI button "Add user", such user is firstly created under your organization - as you correctly observed. Only after accepting the invitation and navigating to the registration link, user is created also in our ManagedOIDC Auth0. Please navigate user to check also their SPAM folder. Unfortunately, some emails sent out from Auth0(Managed OIDC) might end there. Once user finishes the registration, AuthID will be automatically assigned to their user.

@Scott Smith I would recommend you to share the email adresses of the users you want to create (could be done privately I guess).

Hi, @Emilie Abia I wanted to let you know that requested users were added to your organization. Once they visit outsight.cloud.gooddata.com they should use “forgot password” to set up new one. Please note that your organization is still using our Auth0 and is set in a way that you are able to implement your own Identity provider. Currently it is not possible to add users on your own through UI or API and it must be done from our side.

Hi @Jan Kos, thanks for letting me know. I will let the team know. Regarding the Auth0 we don't have one in place just yet so I will have to get back when the implementation is done on our side.

Hi Emilie, Users were added manually from our end, no registration/invitation emails were being sent out. As mentioned by my collelagues Jan before, please navigate your user to visit the outsight.cloud.gooddata.com and let them use the “forgot password” option to set up a new one.

Hi @Emilie Abia my apologies for the delay in our response. We will add both requested users to your organization and let you know as soon as it is done. May I ask you what is your plan about implementing your own Identity provider? You would then won’t be dependent on us adding users to your GoodData Cloud organization and have user management in your control. While using IAM tool provided by us (our hosted Auth0), the functionality to invite other users is available only for GoodData Cloud organizations located in US datacenter, while your organizations are located in EU datacenter. Currently there is no specific ETA when the invite functionality will be available in other datacenters outside the US one unfortunately. Additionally, I recommend posting a new thread in the community if you are coming back with additional requests or questions instead of following up on an existing thread after longer period of time as it will get more attention. Once again please accept our apology for the delay and we’ll let you know as soon as both users are added.
