Q: I have a workspace hierarchy with a parent workspace and 2 child workspaces. In the child workspace, I am able to define new visualizations and metrics; however, I am not able to add additional LDM objects. Are there specific conditions that must be met to enable this?

Hello Anant, Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, you cannot amend the LDM in the child workspaces. You can find a more detailed explanation in this documentation: https://www.gooddata.com/docs/cloud/workspaces/workspace-hierarchy/ But depending your use case, you can have the option to create data filters which can help. Hi Anant, I believe you can add new datasets to child workspace data model (not modify existing/inherited datasets) but this option is currently only possible with an API, not in the UI of the logical data modeller.
