I have a question on how we manage multiple instances of Keycloak with GoodData , so that we can authenticate with users in all our dev, test and production environments. I see that there is a Beta solution on your documentation but can you please advise if this option is available in production ? Can you please provide details on how to manage this scenario ?

Hi Hayley, technically it is possible to enable Multiple OIDC functionality on any environment of yours however as mentioned in the doc we don’t recommend to use it in production because the functionality is under an active development and there can be some yet undiscovered issues. Either way we always recommend to first set up test the functionality on dev or test environment first and test. @Jan Kos, thank you for your response. Given that this feature is not in production I would not want to use this in our production environment. What are the timelines to get this to production and how are we supposed to managed this scenario in the meantime? Ideally we are going to require a development environment until you can provide a solution that allows us to manage this within the one environment. This question around separate environments was raised when we were working with your sales team and we were assured that this could be managed with separate workspaces , this now appears not to be the case.

Hi @Hayley I understand. We can provide you with additional dev and test GoodData Cloud organization so you can connect your dev / test keycloak instances. We’ve reached out internally to get this process going and we’ll provide you with additional environments as soon as possible.
