11/15/2024, 12:55 PMHi, I'm trying enable workspace permissions to export (both pdf & excel) for a user group. But only the pdf option is enabled, excel option is not visible even after enabling. I double checked this by enabling permission for a specific user as well, but it doesn't help.

based on the option in settings

Next time if I click on the same user group and choose the same workspace under add workpace permissions seems like the check boxes are not ticked. This makes me confused whether the permission is added in first place
Is that normal ?

11/15/2024, 1:59 PMAlso, for a user group if I remove the export permission for an accessible workspace, I'm still able to export the dashboard as pdf or xlsx.
We are using gooddata dashboards through embedded Iframe in our react application btw.

11/15/2024, 4:24 PMFor the second question - In your screenshot you’ll see they are different permissions. One has Workspace Access set to “View” and the other is “Analyze”. So they are different permissions.

Where there is only view permission and I have removed export as pdf and excel options.
I have logged into our system where gooddata dashboards are embedded into iframe and checked if the export option is disabled for a user from that user group
The download option is still there, and was able to export the entire dasboard as pdf and the visualizations as csv or xlsx.
