Curious on the UI if there is something on the roadmap so that insights could have conditional logic on it. So if BLANK = A be visible but if BLANK = D, be invisible

Hi Doug, there is nothing like this currently in our roadmap as far as I can see, however, it is possible to use conditionals in MAQL, for example the CASE statement:

SELECT CASE WHEN condition1 THEN outcome1, WHEN condition2 THEN outcome 2 ELSE outcome3 END

I see, could you please elaborate? Do you want a dashboard to always replace an insight if it does not return any data with one that has data?

We wan conditional visualizations (disappear with logic) Instead of having two dashboards that are 95% the same you have 1 that can swap the 5% difference based on data logic, I already know its not possible, just wondering if its on the product roadmap.

Hi Doug, I am afraid this is not on a roadmap yet. Could you share bit more details about the expected logic/behaviour with us, please? By BLANK you'd mean that such Insight doesn't show any data because, for e.g. there were no data available for selected filters? Would you like to hide such Insight or replace it with different one - for e.g. a an Insight ignoring the Dashboard filter selection?

Yes the ability to hide Insights or sections based on logic thats within the data
