thanks Michael, we are looking for a secure way to connect to our synapse. The only option atm seems to be whitelisting ip's depending on where our gd instance is hosted but those can change

Hi Veselin, I hope it’s OK for me to jump in here as well to assist! At this time, we do not support any measures or features for privately connecting to Azure synapse data sources. We do offer AWS PrivateLink for AWS-based DBs, but other DB types need to rely on IP Whitelisting, as explained in our documentation. I would probably recommend raising this discussion during the PoC process with your account owner, and explaining your use-case and requirements - they might be able to help come up with a solution! 🙂
