Hello good people 🙂, I just sent and email to customer success team with asking about enabling back the
invite user button.
But trying to reach out this way also. Long story short, we will implement the OIDC by ourselves, but it will take some time as we are rather small and have limited capacities. Before we do so, would it be possible to use your OIDC and have the button for invitation back ?
This is the email, did not want to make it long and exhaustive in the above msg. I am reaching out to you, because I am unable to invite new users to our dev GD project. Previously we added everyone essential during our trial account, but we are now in the phase, where we need to add more people. I went through your documentation on how to set it up --> Link, but as we are a small startup, it will take my developers some time. During this transition I came across this thread --> https://gooddataconnect.slack.com/archives/C04S1MSLEAW/p1714677188377779, where someone was actually solving the same problem. Would it be possible to use your OIDC and have back the invite button and once my devs would be able to implement google IAM than I would let you know and we would switch back? Thanks very much and have a great day

Hi Jakub, thanks for reaching out through here as well! Yes, we can definitely re-enable the Invite Button for you. The caveat is that the domain setting that enables the invite button also prevents you from switching to your own OIDC - so when the time comes to do that, you’ll need to reach out to us again so we can toggle it back off. It also has a limit of 100 users, but I’m guessing that shouldn’t be a problem. Would that be OK? Could you kindly confirm the correct URL for your GD Cloud domain, so we can work on the switch? You can DM it to me 😉
We discussed this on the DMs and the setting was successfully toggled on our end, re-enabling the button 🙂

Confirming that all is resolved and working 🙂
