Hi GD Folks, I am having an issue re-deploying a child workspace after some changes to the LDM (although I don't see how they would impact it). Can I get some more information on this error message?

Hi Tim, can you please provide more details and expand on the actions you have taken to run into this issue you’re facing?

I'm moving child workspaces to a new parent workspaces. In the new parent, I've updated some formatting of the data model but haven't made any real substantive changes (in my mind at least). Then, I'm trying to redeploy the child workspaces using the GD CLI (v0.9.0). Running

gd validate -p PROFILE

passes successfully. Running

gd deploy -p PROFILE

fails.

Deploy analytical objects to GoodData.

✓ Loading local environment
✓ Validating
✓ Deploying to <http://pushoperations.cloud.gooddata.com|pushoperations.cloud.gooddata.com>
✓ Deploying to server
[e] Failed to deploy gooddata.yaml with profile PROFILE

I've changed the profile to point to the source directory where I cloned the old child workspace to.

Hi Tim, could you please tell me what is the use case for redeploying child under different parent? Generally all objects are inherited from the parent. So it would be enough to create a new child/s under the parents. Feel free to provide further details, I would like to better understand what you are trying to achieve.

Hi Jan, This is more of a single time migration to a parent with different settings. The child workspaces already have custom dashboards and visualizations in them so I'm looking to deploy those to the new child workspaces.
