Hi 👋 Is it possible to configure the default date filter that apply on a visualization? In my example, I have 4 date dimensions and by default the first one is used (I guess using alpha sorting) - but this is confusing to the users - is it possible to configure the order of the filters? Like I want
Metric Date
to be the default one? as a workaround I'll adjust the naming but not ideal

Hi Laurent, Dates are indeed sorted alphabetically in GoodData Analyzer. It might be possible to affect this behaviour while using our SDK. However, this is how it behaves out of the box and there is not much that can be done about it. If you wish, please let me know and I will submit a product feedback on your behalf so we can consider to amend this behaviour in future developments.

Hi Laurent, let me add that the UI tries to preselect the date dimension that best matches your data and filters out those which are not applicable. Your screenshot does not seem to contain any data in the visualization buckets, so the filter shows all the available date dimensions in alphabetical order.

@Laurent Cobos Apologies for my late response. I was checking this internally and waiting for a response. Unfortunately, SDK filter component (which I hoped to be usable here) does not allow configuring date datasets in a dropdown menu. Therefore, there is currently no possibility to affect this. If you wish, please let me know and I will submit a product feedback on your behalf.

Thanks for the investigation. As a feedback, it feels a bit confusing for the novice user that drag and dropping the date dimension to auto select the first one in alpha order. It's just adding a small friction but not a big deal
