Hey - GD team! Quick question if KPIs can be hidden from a dashboard. I’m trying to follow the Utility renaming brick docs and am hoping there’s a way to also hide KPIs. We’d ideally want to hide the following KPIs in the screenshot below for some client projects.

Hi Josh, there is no way to hide specific insights or objects on a dashboard. However, you can create dashboards and make Public or Private. Furthermore, these hidden dashboards aren't necessarily a security feature, and the only way to ensure users don't view data which they shouldn't is through Data Permissions

Thx @Joseph Heun! To be clear, when this documentation suggests Insights are able to be deprecated, what exactly is it talking about? https://help.gooddata.com/doc/enterprise/en/data-integration/data-preparation-and-dis[…]-reference/brick-reference/utilities/object-renaming-utility

If object is “deprecated” in GoodData, this means it is hidden from the users in various lists, but it still remains physically existent. It affects only lists like list of metrics, list of dashboards, list of objects in the Analytical Designer catalog etc. But it does not affect any objects where this object is being used - so deprecating a metric will not hide it from a dashboard if it already is on the dashboard.

ahhh ok. Thanks @Michal Hauzírek!
