When configuring a dashboard in GD you can change the size of insights on the dashboard. However, it seems like they are always left alights and you can't move the insight around within the dashboard. The image below shows you can change where the right edge of the insight ends. There doesn't appear to be the equivalent on the left side to change where an insight starts. Is it possible to "center" a component that isn't full width?

Hi Levi, you can adjust the size of the visualizations on a dashboard only from the right. You drag the right end of the visualization to adjust the width (the number of columns it occupies). As outlined in our documentation here: https://www.gooddata.com/developers/cloud-native/doc/cloud/create-dashboards/dashboard-layout/ However, at this time it is not possible to adjust the width from the left, or to centre the insight.
