Hello,

Sometimes I get a response of “TOO MANY DATA POINTS TO DISPLAY”. What is the maximum result size that is supported / recommended for a report?

In order to properly answer your question I shall clarify that you are running into this error on Analytical Designer where we use the term insight and not report, but the concept is essentially the same. The maximum result size for your insight on Analytical Designer can be either 60,000 rows/columns or up to 60,000,000 cells in total; these are the same limits for the reports you can create under the Reports tab. A way to get around this limit is by applying filters, so only the most relevant data is shown on your insight or report. If it suits you, you can recreate your insight under Reports, and although you will encounter the “Report is too large to display” error, you will have the option to download the report as a CSV file.
