Hi Simone,

you can easily find out where your data is physically stored. Please see the following documentation that will help you with this:
https://help.gooddata.com/doc/en/building-on-gooddata-platform/gooddata-architecture/gooddata-datacenters

For example - Find out colocation of your data using the host command on a Mac.

host acmecorp.gooddata.com

where acmecorp.gooddata.com is the domain URL that is used to log in to the GoodData platform.

  • If the result contains secure-na3.na.gooddata.com, your data is collocated in the US Dallas datacenter.
  • If the result contains secure.eu.gooddata.com, your data is collocated in the EU-UK London datacenter.

Best regards,

FREE tier, GoodData hosts the workspaces in the NA3 datacenter, which is physically located in Dallas, TX, USA.

GROWTH tier, the customers may purchase an add-on allowing them to host the data in other regulatory zones; currently we have:

London, UK

Toronto, Ontario, Canada
