What authentication methods are provided out-of-the-box in the Growth plan? I don't understand what the single sign-on 'add-on' would be for.

Only password authentication via UI or via API is provided out of the box. The single sign-on add-on allows you to use SAML 2.0 or our proprietary PGP SSO method.
