I was able to connect a date but when I want to connect User to Membership, it is not possible. Am I doing something wrong?

Firstly, you will need to create some Connection Points in your model. Setting of primary and foreign key would allow you to connect two or more datasets.
Ok! I don’t know how to set the foreign key but I set the primary key is User and was able to connect the datasets! It looks like the foreign key was created automatically?

Yes, that's correct. The relation of two datasets is actually defined by a single connection point. You can find more details and examples in this article.
