GoodData.CN Internal Server Error

New dashboard/insight bug in a child workspace

Hi Gooddata,We faced with a dashboard/insight creation bug in a child workspace (Gooddata.CN 1.7). We created a simple parent-child structure with data filtering (column filtered by a value) and have dashboards/insights in the parent and those works well with filtered data:parent child child child Unfortunately, when you choose a child workspace (even if you’re an admin or user with ANALYZE permission) and try to add a new dashboard then drag&drop an insight from the “New Item” on the left then the screen below appears for 1 sec after it disappears and the parent workspace will be loaded into some kind of embedded window. You can do this multiple times and there will be more and more embedded windows there and you couldn’t go back just with a full page reload. Images attached.We haven’t found any error messages neither on backend and frontend. Could you please investigate this bug?  ThanksZoltan

Incorrect filtering of running sums

Hi! I’m facing following problemWhen I choose Sum in measures and set date filter to All time, I get these data When I set data filter to This year I get the same data but filtered by year 2021. And it looks right. When I choose Running sum in measures and set date filter to All time, I get running sums groupped by years. It’s still right When I try to filter running sums by This year I expect to get running sum filtererd by ths year, in this expample - 1327. But  I get the Sum (not Running sum) - 51. Is there a way to get what I expect?

Start End Date bar chart by Months

Hi Folks !I'm reviewing GoodData, and of course I'm here cause I have some really basic questions.To make the example easy, I'have a data set with 3 fields user, start end date (subscriptions base data). I'm trying to build a simple chart in which each MM-YY as (X axis) and count the active subscriptions (Y axis). user start end 1 jan-22 dec-22 2 jan-22 mar-22   result would be (bar char): 2 2 2 1 1 jan-22 feb-22 march-22 apr-22 … rest of months ...   The issue I'm encountering is that GoodData is associating the date with only 1 date field either start or end. How can achieve this?I read date-attribute-arithmetic, if I understood correctly that won't solve my query, as it calculates the duration by a given granularity

How to integrate PGP using python

Hello teamI am currently trying to encrypting the message using PGPY library on python side so we can generate the claim for front end to use to integrate dashboard through pgp SSO. However I am stuck at the `sign` stage , all the signed message seems not able to be decrypted on Gooddata side, error: The error message is Cannot decrypt SSO message from sso provider=pgp-test.polyai-test.<hidden> Invalid sessionIdError code='sso.decrypt'Request id='aN3MEuAqWGt8SSrK:woOj0utfTAwppYz4' Look like pgpy only support clearSign by looking at the source code. ( At least that’s what I think why Gooddata cannot decrypt it) I wonder if there is any suggestion on how to encrypt the message using python instead of using gnupg ? That will be super helpful ! Thanks so much

Hi, I manage to embed the dashboard but i can only view the dashboards which i created on Gooddata platform.Is there any way i can change or edit the graph/data of dashboard via Embed Dashboard or API call or with some Code or graph/data can only be changed or added via Gooddata platform?Thanks

Text Selection?

Hi, not sure if this is just me, but I am unable to select text in tables that are on dashboards. If I edit the insight, I can select text but cannot directly from the dashboard. We use this a lot for selecting session ids, is this a bug or feature?

Cannot select single day

HelloWe and our clients have noticed it is no longer possible to select the same start and end date on the static range date picker.Previously, we could see data for a single day by selecting the same start and end dates, but this is no longer a possible.Workarounds include typing the date, or selecting the end date before the start date, although this is fiddly and slowly our users are beginning to submit support tickets about this.is this a known issue?

Geo Chart - in the dashboard does not maintain regional focus

I have built a Geo Chart where I have used the Map configuration to default the viewpoint to Asia - and have further focused in on South East Asia.  However, when I push it into the dashboard the view is fixed on the full world view.  Is there something that I might be doing incorrectly?

Can we Sum or RunSUM based for columns in a table?

I’m trying to replicate a report, and would rather not create a metric for the SUM of 4 metrics I created if there is a sum feature I can use for each column that is built in. Not sure if there is a way to SUM the columns like there is with SUMing the Rows as shown below: Any help is always apprecaited!

Date dimension names in "Date as" select

Hello!I have a funny situation where after adding a date to rows when creating an insight, not all dates in the select have proper names displayed. Our LDM assumes, that apart from regular date fields there are also few custom ones, that our customers can define freely, those are Group Custom Date Field 1-6. Once customers have defined their custom fields, we’re renaming them according to their settings. Here you can see that Group Custom Date Field 1-3 have been renamed to Project Scheduled Date…, Contract Signed Date … and Closeout Date & Time...In the date select, for regular date fields I can see their proper name, however, for those custom ones, there’s original name displayed (Group Custom Date Field 1) instead the one after renaming.What can be done to have date displaying proper name? Another issue is that the name is transformed and consists only of what’s in parenthesis if they are in the name. Here you can see only COM name. What naming conventions have to be met to have

More than two columns in a dashboard

Is it possible to customize the dashboard layout to allow more than two insights on one row? The dashboard editor is limiting to two per row. For my usecase, I am trying to have about half a dozen horizontal bar chart insights on one row, to show different slices of data all at once.

Column Chart Truncated In Dashboard

I’ve created a perfect column chart insight, with a column for each hour. However, when I visualise it in a dashboard, it’s cut off a 3pm. Is there a way to fix this? Even when I drag the insight to cover more space, it’s the same issue…

KPI alerts

Hello, could you please let me know if it’s only possible to create KPI alerts based on metrics that are being calculated within GD and exist as metrics? Here’s an example - let’s say I want to track open to visit rate (O/V) as well as raw visits number. Can I create KPIs and alerts for both or only or O/V? If i cannot create a KPI and alert for such raw metric as visits, is there any way in GD I can track it and be alerted if that number falls/raises?Thank you!

Regarding the order by for attribute column in Good data platform

Hello,    I am trying to use orderby for the Monthdiff column as shown in the image but since it is an attribute column,it is not working as an int value but if i convert the value to int,the column in analyze will not accept it.please do let me know how to orderby the monthdiff attribute column like int where it should display values like 12,24,36,48 and so on not like 108,12,128,132 and so on.Also i want to delete the row displaying ‘sum of cwp’ as well as marked in the attached image.please do help with it too!! Thank you

Percentage of each item based on total

Guys, how are you? I'm trying to create a column that shows the percentage of each item's quantity based on the total sum of quantity. I'm not getting success... if I put the percentage directly in the insight, I can't add another column with integer values. Is there any metric that brings me these values?Attempt to create a metric...SELECT (SELECT SUM(Quantidade) BY Tenant, ALL OTHER WITHOUT PF) / (SELECT SUM(Quantidade))Trying through Analyze- This is the desired column  - But when adding the quantity column in integer format, it disables the "show in %" option

Definitions and distributions location

Hello,I was wondering maybe someone can advise what is the best place to keep the definitions (something like a readme file or a internal knowledge base)?Attributes and facts are listed in “Manage” tab and have a description field which is great. But some general assumptions (like how the data was pre-calculated before getting into data model or what is out of the scope) also needs to be defined and described sometimes but I cannot find where can it be done. I also wanted to ask whether there’s a way to enable a possibility to dive into attributes and facts descriptions directly from the dashboards or insights?Thanks!

Dashboard embedding via iframe and prefiltering data

Hi,We are trying to embed the dashboard via iframe and trying to attempt the pre filtering when fetching it but its still not clear how this should be done. Below steps was followed. Can you please check and let us know if something wrong was done.We have a Test dashboard which has different customer region(attribute) as you can see in first image. Aim is to get iframe/url of the dashboard prefiltered with data of only South region. For this we set the tag on the Customer Region with tag value as south which can be seen in second image. After this we use the includeObjectsWithTags=[south] in embedded url link to get the dashboard with prefiltered south region data only but this didn’t worked. Why are my metrics only working when attributes are also used?

I have a handful of metrics that I created that only work correctly in reports where variables/attributes are used, but if I include them in a headline report with no/minimal filtering, they are not calculating correctly. Here is an example of the MAQL code, and then 2 reports using this metric on the same dashboard with the same filters applied. One you can see is broken down using the variables and attributes and the other is not. The totals do not match up. The variables are both numerical values as well as filtered variables. Is there something I should be including in the MAQL that will allow the results to calculate according to the variables and attributes listed below without explicitly including those in a report?

Failed to return data

Good Morning!In the last few days when opening a Dashboard the data is loading infinitely, or taking too long to load.    This problem didn't happen before, could you tell me if it's something on the AWS servers or would it be a local issue?I performed internet connection test and everything is stable
