Nemožnost vybrat proměnnou pokud nastavena jako "123" jako Metriku, lze pouze při jejím nastavení jako "ABC"
Mám dotaz ohledně sledování impressions v GoodData. V současné době dokážu dohledat proměnou impressions pouze v případě, že jsou nastaveny jako typ "ABC". Pokud je nastavím jako typ "123", nejsem schopna je dohledat. Nicméně, potřebovala bych je nastavit jako typ "1234", abych mohla analyzovat data uvnitř nich - konkrétně, abych mohla počítat čísla uvnitř těchto impressions, nikoli pouze jejich celkový počet. Je možné toto nastavení nějak provést?
Hello,My name is Guillaume Lavergne and i’m a french student in computer science. I recently entered a new company on internship and i need advices on my newest project.On our symfony website, we want to embed a BI tool that can help our customers to get the data they want. For that, they need to have access to the dashboard maker interface directly on our website. The dashboard made will then be embed by API.This project is complicated because, after this part is developped and functionnal, i will have to make other changes to go further with the tool. For exemple, i’ll have to add an IA that allows the graphs to have an automatic interpretation like “in 5 years you’ll have a probleme here” etc.Do you think GoodData can be a great tool to achieve all of these goals ? Do we have to make an account by customers (because each one have their own database) , or can i have one user that connects to multiple databases ?I know these questions may have been answered a lot of time but i dont fi

Assume I have category and sub category columnsI wish to use both of them as insight level filtersNow, when i select a specific value in category filter i want to see sub category values which are related only to that category value that is selected.But as of now, Good data is showing all the values of sub category that related and unrelated to the category selected.Please let me know, how can i achieve my requirement?

Hello,We have observed that the date dimension when creating insights is defaulting to UTC+1 timezone and even after updating the timezone using - https://analytics.aerosimple.com/gdc/md/smhannp580p8fegqpzl88ah5u6o7irgj/service/timezone it is still not getting reflected.This is causing issues in the reports, can anyone please guide what is needed to be changed here.Thanks.
Dear Community,I would like to set up a metric filter for the whole dashboard. To be more specific - I need to create a dashboard, where the metric is represented by number of packages sold. I want to be able to switch metric to value of packages sold and the whole dashboard would be recalculated accordingly.From what I have understood. KPI Dashboards should allow me to do that, but I don’t see this option in GD Cloud. Is there any workaround please? Anastasie
Dear Community,we are facing the issue of users navigating to the dashboards page from the workspace list page when the user only has VIEW permission for the workspace. We have a user with VIEW permission for the workspace, He has access to dashboards in the workspace.When a user logs into the GoodData Cloud website, he is redirected to the page with a list of workspaces. He can see the workspace in the list of workspace, but the item (workspace name) is not clickable. It shows only a tooltip saying that more permissions are needed. So he can’t go to the page with dashboards in the workspace. When he displays dashboards via direct URL, he can see the dashboards.When we assign ANALYZE permission to the user, the workspace name in the list of workspace become clickable and the user is able to go to the page with a list of dashboards.Is there any way how the user with VIEW permissions can go to dasboards page of the workspace after login?Many thanks in advance.Tomas Hoch
Hi,We are using LCM technology in our system.We have locked the some visuals that are designed in analyze tab in development master workspace. Now I’m able to distribute the visuals to all the client workspaces but unable to lock them in client workspaces using LCM(even after running release and rollout bricks). Hi,High PriorityOne of the Customer found that when they try to download .xlsx files from web Dashboard nothing happens.When reviewing this on a call with them they get a "403 Forbidden" error in the console.403 ForbiddenSteps fallowed by customer: clicking on download .xlsx button Download button still loading but not giving any result But it’s working for other file formats downloads. Hi, I’ve added the Geo Pushpin field to the existing data model as mentioned in the below linkhttps://www.gooddata.com/blog/using-geo-charts-gooddata-technical-overview/I can make geo charts in the analyze tab, but when I try to display them in table view, I get coordinate numbers rather than state names. can someone please point me to a resource that would explain the process. Dear Community, I would like to ask you, is it possible to make Insight private for one user within the workspace? I haven’t found any option (including GoodData API) how to make it inaccessible for other users in the workspace. Even users who can edit dashboards can see all Insights as possible visualizations for the dashboard. The user of one of our customers would like to do some exploratory stuff and create some personal visualizations (insights), but he does not want to pollute the workspace with unfinished or incorrect Insights. I have a panel with a report that show the number of employees that the company has by gender, and I added a Competence Date filter (date referring to payrolls) but it is not working. "Competence Date" is linked to the "Payroll" dataset, which in turn is linked to the "Employees" dataset. How can I make this filter work?
Hi,I have a question from a customer of us regarding Date filter.They use good data to reporting insurance case, with a opening and a closing date. They want a report (table) where we can set 2 date filter: Case open after X and closed before Y.Unfortunately, it seems not possible to do this with GoodData SaaS : once you put a date filter, you cannot put another one.Do you see a workaround for my customer ?Do you this this could be a possible enhancement or is there technical reasons for not being possible to implement this ? Hi GoodData team, We are facing an issue on our GoodData account https://katon.cloud.gooddata.com/, where we are not able to see any users/groups when trying to share a dashboard. What we want to achieve is to show some users only a set of client workspaces, instead of adding them to the adminGroup and them seeing all workspaces. What could be the issue here? Not able to see any users/groups when trying to share dashboard API call to get all userGroups I’ve added a user into the adfireGroup and I still don’t see it anywhere on GoodData. I have two columns, revenue this week and revenue last week, and I am looking to add a third column which shows the difference between the two. I believe this might be able to be done with a new metric. Does anyone have an idea how to execute this? Cheers
